Account

You can easily purchase any of our products online by simply creating an account, adding the item to your cart and checking out. You can also come and visit us directly in our Sydney store, we love meeting our customers!

Opening an account is simple. All you need to do is provide your details and two ID sources (Australian drivers licence, passport, medicare card, utility bill etc), it's easy! Need some help? Give us a call and we'll help you out.

Buying & Selling

Yes, as we are based in Australia and you are buying from an Australian company, all prices are in Australian dollars.

Yes! We buy back any products you purchase from Jaggards. Before we agree to buy anything back, all items are tested to ensure their authenticity. If you did not buy your item from us, simply contact us and we'll let you know if we will purchase it.

Whilst we have considerable experience gained over 55 years in the bullion and numismatic trade, we are not able to provide financial advice for your personal investment strategy. We are, however, happy to tell you about the most appropriate products for you. You can check out our Beginners Guide for additional help. 

Yes, you are required to have a verifed account in order to make a purchase. Simply register for an account here.

No, you do not need any of proof of purchase when you decide to sell you item(s) back to us, however, you will need to provide us with a form of identification. E.g a driver license.

We strive to match our prices with other retailers, so we will definitely try our best! If you see the same item cheaper elsewhere, let us know, and we will do our best to match it.

Yes, our prices include GST and other taxes where stated. However, you may be charged customs and duties charges once the parcel reaches its destination port, which must be paid by the recipient directly to the Customs Service or the authorized service provider. Jaggards is not responsible for and will not reimburse any of these charges and duties.

All successful order transactions will receive an order confirmation email within 30 minutes. If you have not received your order confirmation email, before contacting our staff, please check your email junk or spam folder. Alternatively, log in to your account to check My Orders. Feel free to contact us if you have any concerns.

With the help from our office mathematician, we have formulated a very complex formula which involves using the spot price and adding a premium and voilà!

You can pop into our shop for a quick assessment and we can provide you with a quote for your product, or give us a call and we will do our best to help you out.

Once we receive your item(s), we will discuss a selling price with you. If you wish to sell, we simply transfer the money to your bank account. We can hold the item(s) up to a week before you decide to sell. 

Please contact us before shipping your item(s). We will need to confirm that we purchase the item(s) beforehand as well as obtain a copy of two ID sources (Drivers licence, passport, medicare card, utility bill).

We strive to ensure that every credit card transaction occurs within a secure environment. Jaggards' payment system has a 128-bit SSL Security Encryption Certification awarded by VeriSign.

When you see a key lock on your web browser, this indicates a secure page. We do not hold your credit card information after you complete your order, as it is submitted directly to our banks. Rest assured that your credit card and bank account information is secure every time you make an order with Jaggards.

We have no minimum or maximum orders, however online orders are capped at $50,000 when paying by credit card.

Delivery

Yes, but you will need to notify us by email first. Make sure you provide the details of the person in the email. The nominated person will need to bring their photo ID and your order number when collecting the item(s).

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to PO Boxes for security reasons. We only deliver to the address you provided upon registering. 

Please note that if you have recently moved and need to update your address, we require a government ID with the new address on it in order to update it.


Yes, we do ship internationally. Please contact our staff to discuss your specific requirements or request a quote.

You can check your order status in My Orders, once you have logged into your account.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing a tracking ID number and a link. 

Be sure to check your junk/spam folder in case it lands there!

We process and pack your order as fast as possible. If the order is not marked as "shipped", we can amend the address on our end, so please get into contact with us as soon as possible.

 Note: that a change of address requires verification by email or in store.

Delivery times vary according to the item, time of purchase and method of delivery. Typically you can expect to receive your order within 1 to 4 days of the order being dispatched. If you are experiencing a longer than expected time, please let us know and we will look into it for you.

The standard holding period is 14 days. If you collect within this time frame, it is free of charge. When the 14 days are up, if you do not collect your parcel it will be moved to our vaulting facility at your expense. Click here to see vaulting and storage options and costs.

When you are on the check out page you can find your exact delivery cost, as this will depend on the type and quantity of item(s) purchased. See the shipping page for more information.

If you want to avoid delivery costs, simply pick your item up in our Sydney showroom.

Orders may incur customs and duty fees when shipped internationally. Customs charges and duties charged by the appropriate Customs Service authority, once the parcel reaches its destination port, must be paid by the recipient directly to the Customs Service or its authorized service provider. Jaggards is not responsible for and will not reimburse any of these charges and duties. Please note that separate orders placed on the same day will still be subject to the customs charges and duties.

Your order will not be left unattended at your address. For Australia Post deliveries, the driver will leave a note for you to collect your parcel at your local post office. Parcels are kept at the post office for 5 days. 

For all other courier services, the order will be returned to the couriers Warehouse and a re-delivery will need to be arranged. Please contact the courier service to arrange this within 48 hours, otherwise your parcel may need to be collected from their depot.

Please note that a re-delivery fee will be charged if your order is returned to their warehouse. 

You may collect your order in store as soon we have cleared the funds in our bank account. Funds may take up to 48hours to clear. We will contact you by phone or email as soon as you can pick up your items.

Yes. All orders are automatically shipped with signature on delivery as standard, this option cannot be amended. 

Products

Unfortunately no. We do not offer a hold or lay-by service. Items must be ordered and paid for immediately. 

No, items are not placed on back order and we try to avoid advertising products that are not currently in stock.

In the unlikely event that you place an order and your item has sold out, you will be contacted by our Customer Service team via phone or email and will be offered a refund or alternative similar product.

We sell most of the well-known brands however, if you are looking for a specific product, let us know and we will keep an eye out for you! In order to search by brand. simply type the brand name or the size into the search toolbar at the top of the screen to view the available items from that brand or of that size.

Jaggards is a company with over 55 years experience in the bullion and numismatic industry. We are a key distributor of bullion products for some of the worlds largest refiners and mints.

Every product sold is inspected before it is sent out to ensure that it is genuine. 

Yes, we have a physical store in Sydney CBD in which you can view all the products we currently have for sale.

We try to have a stock level that will keep up with demand but some popular items may sell out fast. Our focus is to keep up with the customer demands, and we have created a "wish list" which will notify you as soon as the item is back in stock.

A troy ounce (oz t) is a special unit of measure for precious metals. One troy oz is equal to 31.1 grams.

The spot price is the current price of a commodity if the product were to be purchased immediately. The spot price fluctuates constantly so be on the lookout when purchasing or selling.

Returns

Occasionally, some items may be excluded from Jaggards return policy.

Anything marked as "Sale" cannot be returned for a refund, credit or exchange.

Once we have received the item, you will receive a confirmation email and your return will be processed within 1-3 business days.

Unfortunately, bullion orders cannot be cancelled or altered after the order has been placed due to spot price fluctuations and market volatility.

Numismatic orders can be cancelled or changed so long as the order has not been shipped.

Please contact us immediately if you want to change or cancel a numismatic order.

If an item or order is cancelled, you will need to allow 3-5 business days for the refund value to reflect into your account.

If you are missing your Jaggards delivery box or satchel, use a similar sized cardboard box or plastic delivery satchel. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for safely packing your return, so we receive the items in their original condition.

When returning your item, please leave it in its original casing or display pouch. We can only accept products if they have not been tampered with.

Make sure all returns are sent to PO Box R345 Royal Exchange NSW 1225.

Note: If the parcel is lost via in transit you will be liable as this is not covered by our insurance, so it is advised you insure the parcel.

Refunds are as followed:

-  Credit card or Bank Transfer:

The amount you paid by credit card or bank transfer will be credited back into the same account. Unfortunately, all delivery fee’s are non-refundable.

- Cash:

Cash payments will be refunded by bank transfer.

Please note that all transactions are completed in AUD which means depending on the current conversion rate, you may see a different refund value to your original order charge for international sales.

Before any parcel leaves Jaggards, all orders are photographed for verification purposes. In the unlikely event that we get your order wrong, we will arrange to have the correct item sent out as soon as possible. Please check your parcels carefully as small items can sometimes get stuck inside.

Note: Call us immediately if you are missing items once you have received your parcel, and we will correct the mistake.

Spot price fluctuations and market volatility mean that we are unable to provide refunds or exchanges for bullion purchases; so please make sure you are making the correct purchase(s). We do, however, offer buy backs. Contact us if you would like to know more. 

We also offer exchanges for numismatic purchases; however, this does not apply if you have a change of heart, find the item cheaper elsewhere or you just simply don't want it anymore. We have 3 rules of exchanging numismatic purchases: All purchases must be exchanged within 7 days of the purchase date; they must be in their original packaging and in the original condition. This includes modern issues and rare coins and/or banknotes. If your item matches all these conditions, you can lodge an exchange by contacting us to receive a return number first.

Returns usually take 2-7 business days to reach our store.

Once received, your request will be processed within 1-3 business days.

For refunds, please note that your financial institution may need 3-5 days to clear the funds back into your account.
